What:Story Time! Read all about different cultures from around the world! We will have a light snack and juice, so get your listening ears ready for some great hand selected stories for you to enjoy. Right after story time we will have a coloring activity to do.

What: Butterfly Magic at the Gardens...walk through an amazing live exhibit where exotic butterflies fly by and even land on you! See the stages of metamorphosis in front of your eyes! What:Nahui Ollin Aztec Dancers ceremonial dance in honor of "ATEMOZTLI" (The Descent of Water). An important deity in the Aztec Religion, a god of rain, fertility and water. They control the waters of the world and the all important seasonal rains related to water and agriculture.

What:A Day on not a Day Off A day of service to pay tribute to the teachings of Dr. King during a day of action sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. On this “Day On, Not a Day Off” youth from all over Southern Arizona , as well as community organizations including the American Red Cross, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ben’s Bells, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Beads of Courage, Learn and Serve Arizona, and Volunteer Southern Arizona, for a day of remembrance, connection, and community action.

What:DO THE RIGHT THING, Spike Lee's incendiary (and controversial) look at race relations in 1989 America, is a joyful, tumultuous masterpiece - perhaps one of the best films ever made about race in America, revealing racial prejudices and stereotypes in all their guises and demonstrating how a deadly riot can erupt out of a series of small misunderstandings. I would love to see this on the Big Screen :)
