Wild West Birthday Party

My son decided on a Western themed birthday party this year!
We had a wonderful time together celebrating my big boy's birthday- all of the amazing photographs were taken by Alma Alvarado - Freelance Photographer- check her out HERE and HERE!
Every year,  Rodeo Vacation in Tucson gives us all a few days off of school to go to the Rodeo Parade and La fiesta de los vaqueros!
Tombstone is nearby and Old Tucson Studios is right across town. He owns spurs and his daddy works with horses so it seemed like the perfect choice.

We had lunch right away because it was a midday party - not as hot as the original forecast so we lucked out there!  The  MAMA'S FAMOUS PIZZA was delicious. The family pizzas are so fun. They are giant and when cut into squares they make 30 pieces. Starting at $27.95 a totally reasonable, yummy and easy way to feed the cowpokes!Keep up with their coupons and specials on Facebook HERE.
Our first activity was decorating Cowboy and Cowgirl hats- Dollar Tree and Oriental Trading Company (which I post about free shipping days frequently) is where I supplied this easy craft from. The $1 hats  and a huge bag of Western themed stickers  provided for some creative time and a brief rest from wranglin'.
Pin the Tail on the Donkey- from the 99c Store on 22nd and Columbus- the old school fun was a hit and it really went with the decor. We decided to celebrate at Trail Dust Town and the kids had a blast on the train and rides for the rest of the time and just playing on the grassy area.
The cakes were provided by Sweets By Jess- cute theme ideas.
Party bags had sheriff badges, red bandanas, personalized western pencil, leather boot key chain, and western lollipops from Oriental Trading.
Pizza sponsored by Mama's Famous Pizza.
Photographs sponsored by Alma Alvarado.
Treats sponsored by Sweets by Jess.
Please let them know you saw it on Arizona Families :)
