Get 60 Pounds of Produce for $10 Tucson and Phoenix

 Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste, a program of the Borderlands Food Bank. P.O.W.W.O.W. offers similarly to farmer’s market setting in the Metropolitan Phoenix and Tucson areas including parts of Southern Arizona. Supporters of this program can donate $10 (cash only) and shop for up to 60 lbs. of fresh produce. There are no pre-registration or income qualifications  Website HERE

 **Saturday, January 3rd** from **8:00am - 11:00am**. For a $10 donation take advantage of the new year at our P.O.W.W.O.W. locations listed below to shop for up to 60 lbs. of fresh nutritional rescued produce. 

The P.O.W.W.O.W. program will be offering the following variety of produce.
* Bell Pepper (Colored)
* Corn
* Cucumbers
* Eggplants
* Green Beans
* Gray Squash
* Honeydew Melons
* Italian Squash
* Lemon/Lime
* Tomatoes
* Yellow Squash
** PLEASE NOTE!!!** WE CANNOT GUARANTEE ALL VARIETY OF PRODUCE WILL BE AVAILABLE AT EACH AGENCY SITE DISTRIBUTION.

MARKET ON THE MOVE


Please take note that not all varieties come in equal amounts so there may be some limits in certain varieties. However, for a donation of $10, you can get up to 60 lbs. of produce that you can share with other families. 

MOM event in PHOENIX ONLY , 1741 W. Rose Garden Lane, 85027, tomorrow, Jan 3 from 8 to 11 a.m.. Tucson will have its MOM event next week at 250 S Toole.
Varieties include: Bell Peppers (baby bells, red, yellow and green), chilies (Anaheim, Habanero, Jalapeno, Pasilla and Serrano), Squash (Italian and yellow) and cucumber. 
For a donation of $10, you can get up to 60 lbs. of produce which you can share with other families. Please introduce them to the program.
You can also drop off any items that you no longer need (household, electronic and other items to benefit the MOMers Thrift Shop in Tucson and medical supplies for our American Medical Aid/Disaster Relief program). We also collect used eye glasses to benefit the Lions Vision Center, helping those who can't otherwise afford. 
Tomorrow's load can service up to 600 families. Please like us on Facebook and share this info to others.
