Take the kids on an downtown adventure in the heart of Tucson this summer.  Select and print an adventure map and follow along as you discover Downtown Tucson. 1. This adventure begins at Mercado San Agustin (100 South Avenida del Convento #200, Tucson, AZ 85745) with free parking where you can enjoy a breakfast snack or early lunch at one of Mercado San Agustin’s many options such as Seis Kitchen or a locally roasted craft coffee at Stella Java.  Then proceed to the Convento | Congress Street streetcar stop just outside of the Mercado San Agustin where you’ll board the Sun Link Modern Streetcar.
2. You’ll ride for just a few minutes then depart the modern streetcar at the Granada Ave. | Cushing St. stop where you’ll find the Downtown Tucson Fire Department to the South.  Tour their historic Museum located at 300 S Fire Central Place, Tucson, AZ  (520) 791-4512 and while you’re here take a picture of your favorite fire truck (apparatus) and post on Facebook with the hash tag #TucsonSummer for a chance to win prizes and give-a-ways* all summer long.
When you’re finished exploring, re-board the modern streetcar and head into the heart of Downtown Tucson for your next stop!
3. Depart the modern streetcar after about 4-5 minutes at the Centro Parking Garage where you’ll walk about a block to the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum (414 N Toole Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701) for a tour of Southern Pacific steam engine #1673

4. When you’re finished make a stop at Maynard’s Market for Isabelle’s old fashion locally made ice cream or a cool beverage before making your way back to the Centro Parking Garage Sun Link Modern Streetcar stop and ride it all the way back to the Mercado, Convento | Congress Streetcar stop.
