The Jungle Book
FREE Activity and Teacher Guides

There is a FREE Disney's The Jungle Book Activity Book available and it will keep your kids busy and interested- a great booklet to look at together especially with the information about all the animals and the fun things to do together like the shadow puppets above. My son had asked why King Louie was so big and this activity explained that his character in the film is based on an ancient and extinct Asian ape.

There is also this fabulous FREE Teacher's Guide complete with standards and additional activities, distinct from the ones offered in the activity guide. Some of the printed informational text is the same. I suggest that you look at both guides and print out different pages that will suit your kids, family or students.  I am very excited to be able to show the film when it is released on DVD to my High School English Language Learners class and work on some of this with them. I am particularly fond of the Figurative Language exercise above. :)
