FREE Admission to Reid Park Zoo

There will be free admission to Reid Park Zoo this Saturday, November 19, 2016 AND so much more at Tucson Parks and Rec Family Festival in the Park.

All throughout the park will be things to do and booths to visit for the entire family. Arizona Families will be sad to miss having a booth there this year but has participated in the past and my children had a great time on the park and at the zoo.

Cigna and Tucson Parks and Recreation are proud to present the 11th annual Family Festival in the Park. There will be games, prizes, crafts, inflatables, tennis, disc golf, and class demonstrations. KIDCO will host face painting and an art exhibit featuring the work of our KIDCO participants. Reid Park Zoo will have free admission, and the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center will host an afternoon of free swimming with an inflatable obstacle course from noon to 4 p.m. Tucson City Golf will offer free 10-minute golf instruction at the Randolph Driving Range, 600 S. Alvernon Way, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers from Friends of the Reid Park Rose Garden will be giving tours of the garden during the event. Entertainment will be presented throughout the day, and a variety of foods will be available for purchase through local vendors.

Please bring donations of canned goods to the festival to benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.
