I like price-matching on Wednesday because there are deals for Sprouts, Food City and El Super for produce not available any other day!will also price match Bashas, Fry's, Safeway and Albertson's while there.
Many of the deals are still good for the week check the dates.Walmart's policy says you do not have to have the ad with you but I printed my list to help me! Policy HERE to print or show at the store if you have any problems.
Also, they will not price match items that are sold by the pound in their store but sold per item at another store and vice versa.

The items that say Wednesday only are only on Wednesday for that price- a bit misleading because to the right where the price is it says valid until the end of the ad date but that is NOT correct- They are Wednesday only.

Dia de los muertos Events Tucson 2014

Dia de los muertos / All Souls Procession Events 2014 Tucson
One of our communities most wonderful events is coming up!

I cannot wait to go again to the All Souls Parade :)

 Dia de los muertos is a celebration that mixes pre-Colombian practices in the Americas with those of Roman Catholicism. It is a celebration to honor the dead with festivities, altars, food, song and cleaning of grave sites.

Many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans celebrate this holiday that coincides with celebrations of All Soul's Day, November 1st and 2nd. To read more about the traditions or celebrations go HERE.

1.WOW Book Fiesta Celebration of Dia de los muertos- 
•Join us to celebrate the various cultural traditions of El día de los muertos through exploration centers focusing on arts, traditions, and stories.

•A Collaboration of Project SEED: Teachers from across Mexico studying at UA & CREATE: Students in the UA Early Childhood Teacher Education Program.

When: Saturday, November 1 10am-12noon

2. Rain Crow  Dia de los muertos Party! The art show features Milagros, Angels, Calaveras and Demons for Dia de los Muertos. Artworks by La Valentina, Timothy Schirack and more.We will also be serving Cafe Mexicano brewed especially for the event and traditional dia de los Muertos foods.Bring offerings for the community altar. 3.  “Dia de Los Muertos” complimentary tequila tasting event Tequila experts will be on hand to provide sample tastings for more than 20 diff erent upscale tequilas. You enjoy samples of tequila while hearing about the distillery processes for blanco, reposado and anejo tequilas. Plus, you’ll enjoy complimentary candy skulls and pan de muerto - traditional recipes used to celebrate the holiday.

4. Free costuming workshops for kids and their families to help prepare for this year's Procession of Little Angels! Our team of sewing experts will lend you a hand with your costume creation. Bring your own fabric and/or sort through our pile of lengths and remnants (also free, while supplies last). Info HERE

When: Every Sunday and Tuesday between October 12 and November 5.

Sundays 1:30-4:30 pm, Tuesdays 6-9 pm.

Free to attend, but donations to the All Souls Procession Weekend always welcome and gratefully accepted.

There will be two special wire and fabric wing-making classes on Sunday, October 19 and Sunday, November 2, taught by Veronica Romero and Yvette Judy-Pollard from Spirit Group, makers of fine fantasy and festival-wear! $15 materials fee.

5. Tucson Musuem of Art Event Learn about the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos while looking at community and school altars in the Museum’s lobby. Then create works of art to memorialize lost loved ones

Celebrate the annual tradition of Dia de los Muertos at the Tucson Museum of Art. The day will be filled with altars created by local schools and community partners, food, pinatas, art-making, face painting, and much more. Bring your family and enjoy the rich, cultural festivities! This is a FREE event. Info HERE

6. Viva Dia De Los Muertos Folklorico Spectacular! 

When:Sunday, November 2 at 2:00PM 

Where:Tucson Convention Center Leo Rich Theater. Tickets now on sale at the TCC Box Office!

7. Carnival de Calveras and Altar Dedication All the info HERE and HERE.
When: Sunday, November 2 1-4pm for the kids and 6pm Altar Dedication
Where: Mercado San Augustin 
Cost:FREE 

8 The Procession of Little AngelsJoin over 6000 people--children and their families--as they gather to celebrate their loved ones, decorate sugar skulls, paint wings, enjoy children's performances and storytelling with Stories that Soar, and process around the park. 

All ages are welcome. The Children's Altar Project and Personal Altars will be part of the event as well. 

Free to attend, but donations help defray the cost of art supplies, permits, and infrastructure.
Where: ARMORY PARK* S. 6th Ave between 12th and 13th St.

When: Saturday November 8, 2014
12noon-altar and site  construction

3pm-7pm EVENT

9. The All Souls Procession November 9 in downtown Tucson. It ranks with Tucson Meet Yourself to me as one of our most cherished traditions and activities in the Old Pueblo:) .Be ready for a parade of music and revelry to pay tribute to the deceased. Feel free to dress up, join in and honor your relatives or anyone that has passed away.Go HERE for more information.

Begins after the Procession has arrived–usually between 8:30 and 9:00.

Flam Chen, Danza Azteca Calpulli Tonantzin, Odaiko Sonora and the Community Spirit Group

When: Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 6pm 

Where: Leave at 6:30 PM and proceed South on 6th Ave to Alameda and turn right.
