1 pipe cleaners cut in half

Black marker
2 google eyes
zots gluey dots
Foam

Prep Work before kids:

Step one:

Paint the terracotta pot blue

Step two:
cut out foam sheet to the dimensions of the terracotta pot and cut out fins

Step Three:
Put google eyes on the gluey dots ( do not remove the gluey dots, just keep them on the sheet and place eyes on the sheet. cut the sheet so that each child gets 2 google eyes)

Now add kids to finish the project:

Step One:

Have the kids put glue the around the circular part of the foam whale body and place the terracotta pot on the glue

Step two:

Glue the fins on

Step three:
Have the kids pull the google eyes off the sheets and put them on Wally

Step Four:
Have the kids curl the ends of the pipe cleaners and fold in half

Step Five:
Have the kids put both pipe cleaners in the blow hole at the top of Wally's head

Step Six:

Have the kids make a smile with a black marker

These masterpieces were made by my playgroup kids. I organized an outing to the mall to do an art project and to play early one morning over the summer. The kids loved making their whales in the cool air conditioning!
