New Year's Eve in Arizona 2014 Family Events



I am always excited to ring in the New Year with my kiddos at 10pm when the NYC apple drops at 12am there :) The events in Tucson and Phoenix seem to be very limited for families with younger children. I have tried to find a few things but many things are good if your kiddos are older.  Events TUCSON:

What: Happy Noon Year Activities and traditions from around the world to celebrate the news year at NOON :) All activities included with admission and bring 5 cans of food fro 2 for 1 admission. 

When: 9am-12noon 

Where:Children's Musuem Tucson 200 South 6th Ave.

Cost: Free with admission plus bring in 5 cans of food for BOGO admission.$8.00 for children (Ages 1-99) (Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.) Children under 12 months are admitted free.

What: Jumpin into New Year's Sleepover If you haven't already, stop in and register for THE place to be for kids 7-17 on New Year's Eve. Includes dinner, dancing, jumping, games, competitions, movies, snacks and a light breakfast. Jump into 2014 with us!

What: Flandrau Planetarium Season of Light Holiday Show– An updated “fulldome” version of a holiday classic, this show traces the history and development of many of the world's most endearing holiday customs, all of which involve lighting up the winter season — from the burning Yule log to the lighting of luminarias in the American Southwest. Audiences will learn a selection of Northern hemisphere winter constellations, and find out why we have the seasons. What: Noon Year's Eve Glow Party You and your child are invited to come and play on our giant, soft, fun-filled interactive inflatables during Pump It Up Open Jump Time. Events PHOENIX:

What: Phoenix Zoo Noon Year’s Eve celebration is set for tomorrow rain or shine! We’re not going to let the threat of a little wintery weather ruin our New Year’s fun! If it does rain during the event we will evaluate the safety of our guests and adjust accordingly. It may become necessary to close access to the snow play areas if it becomes too icy and slippery. A large tent is located adjacent to the event space as well where music and dancing will take place. *The cider toast is scheduled for noon.

What: Pottery Barn Kids Happy Noon Year Bring a shoebox for your child to decorate and keep as a 2015 memory box. As the clock strikes noon children will celebrate with noisemakers and giveaways.
