Dia de los muertos Phoenix


Here are a few Dia de los muertos events in the Phoenix area (if you know of others let us know in the comments)

1. Adios Querido: A Day of the Dead Celebration and Exhibition at the Vision Gallery

80 S. San Marcos Pl.; Chandler AZ, call 480-917-6859 for more info.

Admission is free, and gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. The ADIOS QUERIDO exhibition will close with an open house and gallery tours on Saturday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., also free. There will be free children’s make ‘n’ take activities on November 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. Kids will have the chance to decorate sugar skulls and make pressed-tin ornaments.


2. Burton Barr Central Library

3. Dia de los muertos Festival

4. Dia de los muertos Mesa Arts Center. An artist Mercado showcasing an assortment of traditional and contemporary merchandise, jewelry, and arts and crafts from several local artisans. Live artist demonstrations, artist workshops, altar contests, hands-on educational activities. Live traditional music and dance. Community altar and procession For more info. go HERE Free admission.

5. Dia de los muertos Desert Botanical Garden. Interactive altar honoring Día de los Muertos, the Garden’s past and present and the act of gardening itself. Mexican food, pastries and beautiful Mexican art will be available for purchase in the Gardens Mercado. Go HERE for more information. Free with Garden admission.

6. Adelante Gallery at el Pedregal celebrates the Dia De Los Muertos holiday featuring Day of the Dead Art and Imagery by local artists, and live music on the courtyard stage from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Specialty margaritas and cuisine will be available at the Bakery Café. 34505 N Scottsdale Rd # A14
