Dia de los muertos/Day of the Dead Events
For those of you that do not know, Dia de los muertos is a celebration that mixes pre-Colombian practices in the Americas with those of Roman Catholicism. It is a celebration to honor the dead with festivities, altars, food, song and cleaning of grave sites.
Many Mexicans and Mexican-Americans celebrate this holiday that coincides with celebrations of All Soul's Day, November 1st and 2nd. To read more about the traditions or celebrations go HERE.
