My CVS Trip (10/7)

I went in just to see if I would get the $5 off Halloween items coupon from the Red Coupon Scanner and look what I came out with!  These items were 75% off.  I was told by a CVS manager that Corporate will not allow stores to go more than 75% off on clearance items.  So, don't hold off thinking they'll go lower, because they won't.  These items are YMMV, so just check out your store while you're there, but definately go and get your $5 off any Halloween coupon from the scanner to get your free items! (Candy is included I was told...but ask your store)

This is what I got:
(2) 2pk pink storage cubes for $1.49 each
(1) Archway oatmeal cookies $0.87
(4) Nerf Guns $3.75 each (regularly $12.99!)
(1) pk. flex straws $0.25
(2) Halloween Discovery Kids DVD's $0.38 each (used $5 off Halloween coupon)
(1) Halloween Make up kit $4.50 (used $5 off Halloween Coupon)
(1) Sticky notepad with flags $0.25
(1) ZhuZhu pets Lunch box $1.99
(1) Towel head wrap $0.49
(1) Dora bath sponge $1.49---daughter put in the cart and I gave in (:

The only coupons I used was the $5 Halloween, $5 ECB from last week, and my $0.50 ECB summer savings that printed at the scanner today.  Paid $20.10! Saved $76.33!

Now I am set for 4 boys birthday parties, I can organize my daughters room, my daughter has a new lunchbox for kindergarten next year, and I have the make-up for my kids costumes!  Plus some other random stuff!  Not too bad, I think!

  1. Scored 2 cans of colored hair spray for Addie, we have Crazy hair day and halloween coming up. Plus I got a Zhu ZHu lunch box for Addie to store her Zhu Zhus in and one for her friend down the street as a gift. All and All a good day at CVS, plus I used the 40% off coupon at Borders to get a XMAS gift for Dave so I had a great shopping day all and all
