Could you use some trees for your home?

I know I can! I found out about this program and I have put in an order for 4 trees, even though we rent (all you need is your landlord's signature).  What an affordable way to beautify your home and create shade and cooler temps :)

So here is the general information:

There is a grant from the Tucson Electric Power Company in conjunction with Tucson Clean and Beautiful that allows TEP customers to have 2 trees delivered (if home was built after 1980) or 4 trees delivered (if home was built before 1979) for $8 per tree.  You can get them for your home if you are the owner and if you are a renter you just need your landlord's signature.

It is a great price and there are the following options of trees:

• Desert Willow
• Desert Museum Palo Verde
• Blue Palo Verde
• Sweet Acacia
• Velvet Mesquite
• Chilean Mesquite
