SATURDAY 3/5/11
What: TSO for Kids- The earth is Alive with the Sound of Music!  We love these free programs for kids.  Thius week's has a focus on String Instruments and sounds from our planet in celebration of upcoming Earth Day!
When:2 performances one at 10am and one at 11:15 am.  For more info go HERE.

What: Cat in the Hat Character Storytime at the UofA.  The W.A.L.K program at the University offers different events throughout the year and a 20% discount for general reading books including childrens  books at the UA Bookstore.  For more information go HERE.
When:Storytimes at 10:30am and 2pm with the character Cat in the Hat visiting at Noon.

What: The Neverending Story- A night of adventure and entertainment under the stars at the Valley of the Moon.  For more information call 270-1041.

What:Pima Air Museum Kids program Make and Take Airplane Model.  We have yet to make it ton one of these but with three generations of pilots I think my son should go.  We go to the museum everytime is uncle or Grandpa come to visit just never one of these programs-we want to go:)

What: Sabino Junior Ranger Program-Kids ages K-6th grade can participate in tomorrow's activity and every Saturday through March 12, 2011.  Presentations and activities include desert survival, local flora and fauna plus all the beauty of Sabino Canyon.
When: Two times each Saturday 10am and 2pm
Where: Sabino Canyon Visitor Center 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road
Cost:$5 for Park entrance fee or $20 for yearly pass

What:Arizona Animal Fair.  For more info go HERE.  All lkinds of entertainment including K-9 presentations which we will ove as german Shepherd owners.  For the full line-up of activities and entertainment go HERE.

Where:Reid Park at the dog training area.

What: Border's Storytime and Event.  Games, crafts and of course stories in celebration of love of reading and Dr. Seuss' birthday!

 What:Arts and Cultural Festival.  A smaller Tucson Meet Yourself type celebration with performances, ethnic  food and artists! For the full performance line-up go HERE. Everything from Cletic music, Chinese dancing and Mariachi! A huge area of inflatable delights for the kiddos- I remember slides and castles galore. Although, not sure with this wind if it is the right day for that?

When:March 5th 9-4pm, March 6th 10-5pm

SUNDAY 3/6/11

What:Animal Stories from all over the World- Join the zoo for this treat of animal themed storytime. For more info. go Here.

Where:Reid Park Zoo- will start at the otter exhibit
Cost:free with cost of zoo admission

What:Music in the Canyon- A day full of performances, food, raffles and kid's activities wich include storytelling, puppet shows, face painting and demos with snakes and bugs.  For more info go HERE

Where:Sabino Canyon park -North Sabino Canyon Road
Cost:$5 per person per $10 per family
