What: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz -Visit historic Valley of the Moon, meet the real Dorothy, and take awalking tour to the Land of Oz. The Good Witch of the North tells Dorothy to go to the Emerald City and ask the Wizard of Oz to help her get home. Will her friends Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Lion be able to help Dorothy reach the Wizard before the Wicked Witch steals the ruby slippers?? call 270-1041 or go HERE.

What: Storytime at Agua Caliente Park- Awesome stories with a craft activity and ducks nearby!!! More info. HERE. I frequent this activity with my children and we think it is bien padre (really cool)

What: Pima Air and Space Museum Young Kids Program Explore aviation and this month is space exploration month with a take home space helmet project. Ages 4-7. Go HERE reservations are required.

What:"Strokes! A Percussion Event" will feature several compositions that highlight the varied instruments and colors that make up the most fascinating family of musical instruments. A fantastic evening of percussion chamber music is in store for all those attending. On tap are works from the UA Percussion Group, The Rosewood Marimba Band, and Malleus (the UA Graduate Percussion Quartet).

SUNDAY 4/24 What:Toy Train Museum Open House. Toy trains of different sizes and shapes will run, whistles blowing and bells ringing, on 16 different tracks. There are also exhibits of old toy trains, railroad memorabilia and a World War II vintage caboose

What: Freedom Riders Event"Freedom Riders 50th Anniversary Civil Rights Forum." The April 25 event will be held 6-8 p.m. in Room 350 of the Modern Languages Building. Original Freedom Rider Bernard LaFayette and Tucson leaders Clarence Boykin and Guadalupe Castillo will attend the event, which includes a screening of the PBS documentary "Freedom Riders" and Arizona Public Media's program, "Barrios and Barriers: Tucson Civil Rights Era."
