Tucson has a population of approx. 550,000 but sometimes it can really feel like a small town (which I LOVE)Therefore the idea of bringing people together to celebrate their similarities and differences is awesome.
The local businesses and community leaders are hoping to strengthen the sense of community and volunteerism with a picnic on the UofA Mall.
What:Tucson Together Picnic Steel drums, children's activities, raffles, speakers and tile painting for a collective mosaic project. For more info. go HERE.

I graduated from the UofA in 1999 and I still wish that I was a student there :) I usually jump at the chance to be on campus for events...
This one looks cool- a very interesting idea.
