What:Celebrate Tucson's birthday at the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun.. with free admission, ice cream, cake and DeGrazia artwork. A great day to stroll through the legendary gallery and see a current exhibit showcasing Ted DeGrazia's dual passions for art and music, including abstract paintings that reveal the relation between art and music done for his 1945 Master's thesis at the University of Arizona. Celebrate Tucson's Birthday!

What:Summer Saturday Evening All about bats and family astronomy night. ** Warden Oasis Theater 7-7:30 p.m. and 8-8:30 p.m. Tucson welcomes Dr Ed Arnett, Bat Conservation International's Director of Programs for a wonderful evening full of great bat photos and lots of information on bats in the U.S., sustainable energy and its relation to bats, and more! Family Astronomy Night (Sponsored by the National Optical Astronomy Observatory) Baldwin Education Building: rooms 102 A-B & 103 and Museum grounds 6-9 p.m. Join us for a fun evening of exploring the stars, asteroids, planets, and gravity. There will be hands-on astronomy experts available to answer your questions.
