1. Save the dates! The All Souls Procession through downtown Tucson. It ranks with Tucson Meet Yourself to me as one of our most cherished traditions and activities in the Old Pueblo:)

Be ready for a parade of music and revelry to pay tribute to the deceased. Feel free to dress up, join in and honor your relatives or anyone that has passed away.

3. Celebrate Día de los Muertos / Day of the Dead at Your Library!In My Family/ En Mi Familia
Come celebrate your family with writer Marge Pellegrino . We’ll admire Carmen Lomas Garza’s family paintings and stories. We’ll brainstorm topics we might tackle. Then we’ll document one of our family’s stories in picture and words.from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the El Rio Branch Library, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd. Several libraries offer workshops in making and decorating sugar skulls, a traditional craft of el Día de Los Muertos.
Stay afterwards and join El Rio Staff in making a mini altar to remember those we have loved and lost.This program is part of the library's Nuestras Raices: Celebrating Mexican-American Authors, Arts and Culture.
