What:The Math, Science, and Technology Funfest (MSTFF) is an annual, three day math and science extravaganza held at the Tucson Convention Center. Now in its 8th year, the MSTFF (or Funfest as it is commonly called) introduces 4th – 8th graders to diverse math, science, and engineering principles.  The MSTFF is a collaborative effort between Raytheon, the University of Arizona, IBM, Honeywell, US Expo, SciEnTeK-12, local schools, and other partners to show students a real-life perspective of many diverse sciences.For all the info go HERE OPEN TO HOMESCHOOLERS and PRIVATE PARTIES too!

What:WHAT:UofA Family Days AKA Poetry Joey! Seriously, these are the BEST!!!! Poetry Joeys for 3 age groupsThe Physics Factory visits with their smoke ring apparatus, whirling-disk electrostatic generator (a.k.a. Wimshurst Machine), and other gismos. Participants will work with mathematicians and scientists to produce vivid lightning-like sparks, smoke rings, and other phenomenon and writers will be on hand to guide in crafting original writing inspired by these fun experiments.Plus other writing activities, games, stories, and puzzles for all ages.Infant sing-a-long 4-6 year olds downstairs in the library’s Children’s Corner

                         What:California Pizza Kitchen and the University of Arizona Wildcat Hockey Team have partnered to host a FUNdraiser benefitting the Wildcat Youth Hockey Association.Special event fliers can be printed from the Wildcat Youth ICE Hockey Tucson Facebook page or Tucson Mall’s website at http://www.tucsonmall.com/events;  they will also be distributed around town on the days leading up to the event.
