 What:Afri-can!The Forgotten Children of Senegal will host an event at Armory Park Ballroom. Celebrate West African culture while also raising money for the street children of Senegal. There will be music, food and dancing.Performers include “Sticks and Fingers,” a steel drum percussion group that plays energetic Afro-Caribbean sound. Uzo and Maxame dancers will accompany the musical performances with an evening of boogieing. Money raised through donations and a silent auction will provide clothiTng, safety and homes for the Forgotten Children of Senegal.

What:Stories That Soar! begins with an invitation from our “hungry” Magic Box for children to “feed” it their stories, promising to give their words and ideas back to them in a magical way. What:Fiesta de Barrio Hollywood Street Fair- What an awesome neighborhood!  Do you want to sample some aguas frescas?  tacos de carne asada? or visit one of the many community booths?  Than head to this neighborhood event.  We have gone many times and had a great day. Hoping the weather is decent Saturday :)
