A Sweet Birthday Tradition and Giveaway The Night Before My Birthday Book

My sweetest, smallest, smartest and silliest little Sofia just turned 3! I cannot believe that she uses full sentences to tell me about all kinds of things going on in her world.  She shares her kindness with her animals and muñecas (dolls) just like she shows her family so much love.

Sofia Mireya really is the epitome of sweetness and I was excited to start a new family tradition on the eve of her 3rd birthday. Our family celebrates many holidays with gusto and birthdays are no exception.  I found out about this sweet book penned by local author Joni Rubinstein titled "The Night Before My Birthday Book" and decided we would try a Birthday Eve celebration as well.

The book allows for personalization for each birthday boy or girl- every year.  You can fill in the blank with the next age.  Sofia and my older son seemed shocked that I was reading it- just for her.  I explained to him that on his next birthday it would be just for him too!

The anticipation that we all feel before our birthdays is accentuated with the younger ones and this book has quickly become a family tradition for us to celebrate the magical moments of the birthday eve.  We read it for me on the eve of my 35th too!
