The Lodge on the Desert in Tucson is a fun place to stay. We had a staycation there last summer, but it is even a better place to eat!
Why?
Mainly because of the young and talented Executive Chef, Ryan Clark. The special occasion buffets and menu offerings are amazing and the restaurant has been voted a top star in Tucson many times over! If you are looking for a great deal and want to go for a simple evening out- during Happy Hour the grass fed burger is only $6 and house infused vodkas are only $5! If you take the kids there are great options for them too- the house-made ketchup was a hit with my kiddos!
Food&Wine Chef of the Year Contest has nominated Lodge on the Desert's Ryan Clark in their elite competition! Chefs with the most votes in their respective regions will be
named regional winners. The chef with the most votes overall will be
named 2013 The People's Best New Chef to be announced March 20 and featured in the July, 2013 issue of FOOD & WINE.
