What: THE SOUND OF MUSIC~A Blue Alley Production Maria is a sweet young postulant whose love of freedom makes it obvious to her superiors that she is not suited for religious life. Thus, she is sent off to be the governess to Captain von Trapp's seven troublesome children. Unlike previous governess', Maria becomes friends with the children due to their mutual love of music. Soon, even the strict Captain begins to admire Maria. Eventually, the Captain and Maria fall in love and are married. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. What:GARDEN GECKOS Our new early childhood parent|child program begins this spring. Garden Geckos is a program meant to introduce young children to the wonders of the natural world through exploration at Tucson Botanical Gardens. Each week will include outdoor time as well as a variety of activities including stories, crafts, songs and more. Program fees are for the entire four-week series and include one child (2-5 years old) and one parent. Join us for an hour of fun in the Gardens!When: Wiggles & Wings, Fridays, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Mar. 15 to Apr. 5 (four weeks)Learn about the wonderful world of bugs, including butterflies, spiders and worms, through hikes, games, stories and other activities.Where: 2150 N.
