“The Wizard of Oz.”In their search for the Wizard of Oz, Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow and the Cowardly Lion meet up with Munchkins, Jitterbugs, Glinda the Good Witch and the Wicked Witch and her flying monkeys. Enjoy your favorite songs like “Over the Rainbow” and “If I Only Had a Brain.”

What: Stories That Soar Celebrate the Best of 2012-13 Ever wonder what a child's story coming to life would look like? Well wonder no further because the lovers of children's books and imagination from Stories That Soar do just that. All kids have a chance to apply to have their stories turned from the second to third dimension using props and professional performers on stage before their very own eyes. When:two performances at 4pm and 6:30pm Where:  Temple of Music and Art.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12 and can be purchased online or at the door.

 What: Hansel and Gretel Ballet Ballet Tucson II, the exceptional youth company of Ballet Tucson, presents a charming rendition of the favorite children’s story Hansel & Gretel. Also on the program is Les Sylphides, a romantic era ballet set to the familiar music of Chopin, and a new contemporary offering to be announced.
