Some 52 species of snakes, 49 species of lizards and 6 turtles and tortoises have Arizona Zip Codes. With so many of these scaly neighbors, visitors and residents alike are bound to have regular contact with these intriguing animals during our warm months. This programs provides an informative introduction to those that we are likely to encounter in our part of the Sonoran Desert. Exciting, interactive program. What:Puppets Amongus presents Archipelago With a handmade cast of characters, finely made staging and live acoustic music, Puppets Amongus revives the ancient art of storytelling through puppet shows, parades, and improvised street theater. Puppets Amongus makes and works with a variety of puppetry styles- shadow puppets, hand puppets and giant carnival-style puppets, bringing the viewer a multi-layered, sensory experience.
