My family and I recently had the opportunity to try some Julie Bars! This is a local Tucson company with a wonderful product that is definitely growing quickly. Simple real ingredients and great taste make these a perfect breakfast on the go or a snack anytime. The ones that we have sampled are amazing.
My favorite is the Cashew Cranberry! It is so so good and I love that the ingredients are all real food ~ plain and simple! Cashew Cranberry ingredients:
Organic sweetened cranberries (organic cranberries, organic sugar, organic sunflower oil), Organic dates, Organic cashews.
My kids liked the PB & J Bars. We were in the car and they were both "starving" so I had them split one. They both liked it and I have since bought more for after-school snacks and to pack in my son's lunches.
My mom's favorite was the Fig + Almond. After, she started eating it she exclaimed, "I really like this!" Then she asked, "Does it have any perservatives?" The answer is NOPE! natural ingredients. In fact, Organic dates, Organic figs and Organic almonds are the only ingredients.
There are other flavors to try: Chocolate Fudge Brownie, 'Mt Lemmon' Poppy Seed, Mint Chocolate, German Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Chocolate Espresso (another tasty morning on the go favorite of mine).
