On Sunday, December 8, Ballet Tucson hosts its 13th Annual Sugar Plum Tea benefit at the elegant Marriott Tucson University Park Hotel. ‘Sugar plum’ visions will become an extraordinary reality as the ballroom is transformed into a magical holiday wonderland. Enjoy high tea in a festive holiday setting and savor scrumptious scones, tasty pastries, and other distinctive delights for the whole family. Live musical entertainment will be provided by harpist Dr. Christine Vivona and The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus. Adding to the atmosphere will be an exceptional holiday marketplace and a silent auction of seasonal treasures. Ballet Tucson’s talented dancers will perform excerpts from The Nutcracker, including a narration of the beloved story, complete with familiar characters from the ballet.
