Beads of Courage will be holding a Courage Rally. Come out and learn more about their “Carry A Bead” program. Anyone, of any age, can carry a bead to encourage a child coping with serious illness that receives the Beads of Courage program. So, if your family is doing a family fun run coming up or you’re training to run your first marathon...you can Carry a Bead! Beads of Courage will be distributing complimentary “Carry a Bead” packages to the first 100 people that arrive at the event and additional packages will be available for a $10 donation (or $20 to order online).
Those of you that are familiar with science celebrity Geoff Notkin and STEM Journals will be excited to meet Geoff at the event on the 14th. Notkin is proud to Carry a Bead on every episode of the Stem Journals and is a proud member of TEAM Beads of Courage. At the Courage Rally, Notkin will meet fans and sign autographs.
