Produce On Wheels - With Out Waste 60 Pounds of Produce for $10 Starts November 1st Phoenix and Tucson

 Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste, a program of the Borderlands Food Bank. P.O.W.W.O.W. offers similarly to farmer’s market setting in the Metropolitan Phoenix and Tucson areas including parts of Southern Arizona. Supporters of this program can donate $10 and shop for up to 60 lbs. of fresh produce. There are no pre-registration or income qualifications.


TUCSON AREA:
Borderlands Food Bank would like to announce the Produce On Wheels - With Out Waste produce distribution schedule 2014 - 2015 season starting in November. With a $10 donation supporters can shop for up to 60 lbs. of fresh nutritious rescued produce at the participating agency sites listed below. The schedule will be growing so please check back for our up-to-date information. Due to the long list of agency sites, we will be posting the Tucson and Southern Arizona service areas first and then with another post of the Phoenix service area.   5. Any plans for sites to the southeast Phoenix metro? Queen Creek, Apache Junction, even SE Mesa? I would love to participate, and I know a lot of others who could really use it as well, but the cost of traveling to the current sites would double the cost. :( Wishful thinking.
