Beginning Monday, February 2, 2015 McDonald's in Tucson and across the U.S. will accept "lovin'" as a form of payment. Do something nice or fun for yourself or someone else.
Between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Feb. 2 through Saturday, Feb. 14, customers will be selected through a randomized process to pay for their order not with money, but with a Lovin’ act. For example, breakfast might cost a fist bump, lunch could be paid with a phone call to a loved one, or dinner could go for a compliment. The drive-thru is not included.

McDonald’s is testing a new menu platform at 54 restaurants in Tucson and southern Arizona that gives customers more ways to customize their meals, providing enhanced value and side options to accompany their favorite entrées. Instead of ordering numbered Extra Value Meals with two side choices, fries and a soft drink, customers can mix and match their orders with up to eight side options.
I like that there are healthier options - bottled water and salad for example!
