Ten Last Minute Easter Basket Ideas
I am a last minute person.  I am a busy mom, high school teacher and run this blog.  I am always getting things done right before they need to be done and Easter baskets are no exception.  I have lots of ideas but turning those ideas into reality usually happens a few days before :)
*If you are looking for local egg hunts and happenings- check out TUCSON HERE and PHOENIX HERE

Here are ten last minute easter basket ideas- many of which I will be using:

1. Gift Cards - many of the older children will love this.  We are planning on an exciting trip to the Disney Social Media Moms Conference in Walt Disney World! I think it is a fantastic way- especially for my 8 year-old to manage his souvenir money with a Disney gift card. Right now gift cards also give you 4x the fuel points at Fry's (Kroger) info HERE . Many Safeway Just 4U offers are giving more fuel points for gift card purchases as well.

2. POGO Pass -  Make wonderful memories here in our own backyard!  Make family time together with your POGO Passes! The POGO Pass gives you admissions to 15 different Valley area (Tucsonans- we go there too!) venues like Castles N'Coasters, Pump It Up,  Phoenix Zoo and Sunsplash! You can get it with the code: AZFAM for only $39.98- normal over $100!  All the information you need is right HERE! You can print it out right after purchase and add it to the baskets!

3. 99c Only Store - You will find so much more value on Easter basket trinkets and candies at the 99c Only Store.  This is not just any dollar store.  They carry many more items, brand names and larger sizes than what are available compared to most dollar stores. They also have so many baskets and eggs! For locations near you go HERE.

4. DVDs - This may seem like an expensive basket idea but really there are so many great deals right now, including $5-9 family DVDs at Walmart that also give you movie cash! (thanks to Christine B!) You can stick the DVD in the basket and then also go see the movie as a family - WIN-WIN!  In addition, there are some amazing prices on Disney Blu-ray + DVD packs right now HERE -up to 40% off but they probably aren't going to make it for the last minute baskets :

5.LOCAL Gift Certificates/Classes/Summer Camp!
How about some adorable Easter cookies or other things that are made/sold by Arizona Families supporters HEREHow about a week of fun Summer camp day or week- check those suggestions out HERE!

6. Thrift Stores- Thrift stores and second-hand stores don't only have used items.  I find many new items on my adventures around town.  Maybe a new or almost-new book, for the younger ones- baby toys till in the packages. etc. Check Bookmans - They have so much more than books!

7. Tickets to a show!  You can pick up movie tickets/cash and stick it on the basket and you could also support local and live programming!  Disney On Ice  Maybe even season tickets?  Broadway in Tucson, UAPresents, ASUGammage, Ballet Tucson, Ballet Etudes, and more!

8. School supplies- colorful pens and fun notebooks are always exciting!  99c Only Store will also be a great place to find those. I even found these awesome sketch books for my mini artistas there :)

9. Family Outings- How about a family paint time at Creative Juice? Botanical Gardens? A year-long family membership to the Arizona Science Center which includes 250 reciprocal museum memberships?  Info HERE. Maybe the Phoenix Zoo at 50% off HERE?

10. Clothing and dress-up!  A new character t-shirt or princess gloves?  A Disney onsie?  Fun jewelry. Nail polish.
