Family Friendly Mexican Restaurants in Mesa, Arizona

1. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Mesa is El Charro. It is located at 105 N. Country Club Drive, in Mesa. It is very unassuming, has authentic food, and is family friendly. They have a great kids plate with macaroni salad and a quesadilla. This is actually a photo of my husband and children there. They are open for lunch and dinner, Wednesday-Saturday from 11:00-2:00 then again from 5:00-9:00 and Sunday from 12:00-8:00. You can find them on Facebook HERE  

2.  If you would like to try something a little more fancy with colorful and creative dishes try Rancho De Tia Rosa at 891 N. Higley Road in Gilbert. Although technincally in Gilbert, it is not that far and worth it. They used to have a North Mesa location and had to move last year. Be careful about the Tia Rosa's that you go to, there are some copy cats our there. This one is the best though. The patio is awesome. See their Facebook page HERE

3. Another favorite of mine in Mesa is Mango's Mexican Cafe at 44 W. Main St., in downtown, old town Mesa. It is fun to sit out under the umbrellas. I always love drinking their aguas frescas. Visit the Facebook page HERE
