Circus Xtreme in Phoenix Now through Monday

Cue the lights, music and clowns! The circus is in town! Phoenix, AZ that is. They are at US Airways. Hosting their Circus Xtreme. This show is extreme. Nothing simple about this show. They have the lights,fog and pyrotechnics. The costumes are beautiful full of bling. The whole spectacle is so much fun!

During the main show you'll get to see so many acts. It's almost hard to pick the best ones. They have something for everyone. Of course we all loved the clowns. They were super silly.My personal favorite acts were the high wire and the wheel caged apparatus. They acrobats on the high wire were entertaining and risk takers. They jump over people and even carry people across the wire. The acrobat who was walking, running, jumping and swinging of the wheeled cage had such high energy. The suspense of his act made me look away a few times. The whole audience was quiet during some of his moves and erupted into cheering after he completely his act! 

My son loved the human cannon! She shot out of there so fast. If you move or blink you would miss her flying in the air. See if you can see her in the slideshow above. My daughter was in awe of the beautiful mermaid acrobats swinging in the air. They outfits were amazing and she said they looked like they belonged with Ariel. Another act that was very impressive was the Iron Jaw. This man was able to lift 500 lbs with his teeth! I couldn't even image trying a stunt like that. 

Overall, we really enjoyed the Circus. There is so much going on at one time, it will be hard not to find something you love. Both of my kids were very entertained. My 5 yr old sat down and watched the whole time. That is an accomplishment. We did pay for the picture on the elephant.  We  bought snow cones for the kids. They come in cute plastic animal cups they are $15. For us it was worth it bc they could have something to snack on the whole time as they are huge. Plus, they are playing with the cups today.  Don't forget to bring your own glow sticks! Hope you enjoy your visit. Let us know what your favorite act is!
