There are quite a few things happening on MLK Day in Tucson for families to enjoy and participate in.
What: Annual Martin Luther King Day March AND Street Naming! Prior to marching, the street will be renamed and dedicate to MLK! Once the remarks conclude, participants will march to Reid Park for the festival which will feature speakers, music, dancers, food booths and informational booths.
When: Monday, January 19, 2015 at 9am Marchers will gather at Street Dedication at 8:00 AM

What: 30th Annual Martin Luther King Day Festival which will feature speakers, music, dancers, food booths and informational booths.

What:Freedom Songs Sing-a-long MLK Day Ted Warmbrand will lead us through some wonderful singable examples which carried freedom fighters of yore through the tumult and strife of their times, and face it with courage.

What: FREE Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy on Monday at 7:30pm with a free screening of Soundtrack for a Revolution and on Saturday, Feb. 6 we'll have a special screening of Selma with a post-film Q&A with Diane McWhorter, whose acclaimed book “Carry Me Home,” an account of the civil rights revolution in Birmingham, Alabama, won the 2002 Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction.
