3rd Annual SAVOR Food & Wine Festival
It’s time again to Savor the Culinary Gems of Southern Arizona
Presented by Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona & Tucson Botanical Gardens
With an impressive showing of authentic Southwest cuisine and local, homegrown treasures, SAVOR delivers a premiere Culinary Arts celebration like none other. Now in its third year, SAVOR will once again bring together over 50 vendors at the lush and historic Tucson Botanical Gardens on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Presented in partnership with the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance, Local First Arizona, and Tucson Botanical Gardens; all three non-profit organizations strive to educate and promote the beauty and culture of Southern Arizona in their own unique way. Michelle Conklin, Executive Director of the Tucson Botanical Gardens said, “By partnering together on this event, we’re able to pool all of our resources to put on an event that is rich in community and really honors the amazing culinary and cultural gems this city has to offer”.
The Botanical Gardens will come alive with food, wine, and cocktail tastings, and interactive stations where attendees will have a unique opportunity to meet and interact with local chefs. Vendors at SAVOR include over 50 of the region’s best chefs and restaurants, over a dozen wineries and breweries, as well as specialty vendors offering artisan coffee, tea, cocktails and more. Other event features include, live music, admittance to Butterfly Magic, the Gardens tropical butterfly exhibit, and raffle offering premier prizes from each organization.
Last year’s sold-out event brought over 1,000 guests to SAVOR, making it the largest Food & Wine Festival in Southern Arizona. With the addition of the new Welcome Center at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, more guests and vendors are expected at this year’s event.
