ASU Gammage is proud to announce that the U.S. National Tour of ANNIE, now in its second smash year, will play May 4-8 at ASU Gammage in Tempe.

I took both of my kiddos (ages 6 and 9) to see this production when it was in Tucson. We had a great time together. They loved the story and particularly Annie's dog Sandy was a huge hit. For me, it was a nostalgic experience as I remembered watching the film version many times on VHS when I was young. This time around, I really enjoyed all the live characterization, especially Miss Hannigan- she rocked it!

Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of ANNIE is a brand new physical incarnation of the iconic Tony Award®-winning original.

ANNIE has a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. All three authors received 1977 Tony Awards® for their work. Choreography is by Liza Gennaro, who has incorporated selections from her father Peter Gennaro’s 1977 Tony Award®-winning choreography.

The beloved score for ANNIE includes “Maybe,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile,” “Easy Street,” “I Don’t Need Anything But You” and the eternal anthem of optimism, “Tomorrow.”

Tickets are currently available through an authorized ticket seller found only at Ticketmaster.com 1-800-982-2787 and by visiting asugammage.com. Group orders may be placed by calling 480.965.6678.
