Disney On Ice Presents Treasure Trove in Phoenix April 7-10, 2016 {AReview}

A fun night out for the whole family!

We went to opening night of Disney on Ice Presents~ Treasure Trove at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.  Disney’s characters capture the attention of most people wherever they visit.  It was no different in this case.  My two daughters Saydee (3) and Betty (2) were laughing, singing, and dancing with the characters through the whole show (90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission).  

We loved how Peter Pan and Tinkerbell came flying in during their number.  We also enjoyed Aladdin’s “A Whole New World” and watching them flying around in the sky on the magic carpet ride.  Some of our favorite costumes were the Croc from Peter Pan, the Elephant “Abu” in Aladdin, and the Lion King number.  They were incredible!!!

I loved seeing all the little people dressed up in costumes!  It reminds me how much happiness a child can get from putting on a costume, playing pretend, and engaging their imagination.  Disney has a way of inspiring youth in all of us and for a moment we can escape from the daily grind. 

Tips:  1.  Go early (as with all big events) to get better parking.

2.  Wait to buy souvenirs until you are on the way out (that way you don’t have to spend time trying to reason with a 2 and 3year old as to why their new toys are a BIG distraction to other people in the audience).  3.  Budget for souvenirs (or stop by the $2 spot at Target before the show for some glow toys)  and snacks.  The souvenirs seemed to range in price from $12 and up.  We went home having spent $22 on each of our little ones.  My husband’s soda was $7.50.
