Freebies at Disneyland

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my disclosure policy HERE

Disneyland is one of our favorite places!  I love to go and get some Disney therapy. It is such a fabulous family vacation and in my opinion worth saving and planning for!  To see savings tips and discount ticket and vacation options check ---> HERE.

There are also some great free things that you may not be aware of. Unlike the early days of Disneyland when different tickets got you different rides and entertainment- we know that all the rides and entertainment are included with your admission tickets but next time you are in the parks take advantage of these fabulous freebies:

1.

You can bring your own water (and food too) into Disneyland but you can also request FREE ice water from all food counters and restaurants that have access to water!  Some of the small food carts do not have that option but in every land there will be service counter restaurants available.

2.

Are you celebrating anything during your trip?  A birthday? An anniversary? A 1st visit?  Head over to City Hall and pick up your free buttons to help you celebrate. Wear them in the park and you never know who might notice :)These buttons are also available at many other restaurants and counters if you miss City Hall on your way in.

3.

There are photographers around the park ready to take your photos and they will do this for free with your camera or phone! This is a great way to get the family picture taker TO BE in the photos with the rest of the family plus they are taking the professional photos at great locations around the park. You can always opt to buy photos too - more info HERE.

4.
The maps for the park are a must when you enter for your day at Disneyland. The additional brochures are usually printed for a week and include times of the entertainment offerings and other important information for your visit. They make great FREE souvenirs with the date of your visit right on them. In addition, the Jungle Cruise has a very cool map that is FREE just kindly ask a Cast Member at that ride when you are exiting or while waiting to ride. We got one on our last visit and my kids felt so special!

5.

There are often cast members around the park asking to conduct a short survey and they often have cute stickers to give after you have answered a few questions. Many cast members that are helping keep Disney clean and more have stickers. You never know when someone may just offer you a little extra bit of magic for FREE.

6.

Fast passes are a must in order to not have to wait in line for over an hour for a ride like Space Mountain, Star Tours or Indiana Jones. Most people realize that these are free at the kiosks for the rides they would like one for but if you would like a cute FREE Souvenir for your kids to add to their book or collection of tickets, you can print out an additional card after getting your fast pass that will look like a fast pass and show the name of the ride but is not a valid fast pass.

Have a magical day!
