You’ve likely heard about SEA LIFE Aquarium Arizona, but how much do you know about their conservation charity SEA LIFE Trust? SEA LIFE Trust’s vision is a world where our seas are healthy, protected and full of diverse life. It works globally to protect the world’s ocean. All throughout SEA LIFE Arizona, you can learn about the three pillars of the SEA LIFE Trust – Breed, Rescue and Protect. SEA LIFE Arizona is dedicated to local initiatives in addition to global ones. The SEA LIFE Arizona Green Team regularly participates in canal and Salt River cleanups.
SEA LIFE Trust recently contributed to a major ocean success in the United States. Guests of SEA LIFE’s across the U.S., including Arizona, were able to vote for America’s next Blue Park. Last week, it was announced that the Papahānaumokuākea Ocean off Hawaii, would become the world’s largest protected area on the planet. A significant amount of SEA LIFE Arizona’s guests cast their vote for this site!
