My family and I LOVE the Tucson Botanical Gardens. They not only have such beautiful grounds (obviously) but also changing exhibits, family days, performances, holiday events like Luminaria Nights, a tasty local ingredient infused restaurant, and Butterfly Magic!
Currently, Frida is in the house - la casa azul and the exhibit is educational, gorgeous, and even hands-on. The kids can play with puppets, an adorable outdoor kitchen and feel like they are part of Frida's world.
The exhibit houses an emergence exhibit and a walk through with the butterflies from exotic locales. There are even very bright and beautiful dart frogs. In addition, we even saw gorgeous butterflies right outside the exhibit- Monarch or Queen?
