I was given a pair of tickets to the
performance to give and a pair to see it!

As part of the 2017 Tucson Desert Song Festival, Company Ballet Master Daniel Precup choreographs the world premiere of Love Songs to some of opera’s most famous arias including La Traviata, La Boheme, The Pearl Fishers, Rigoletto, and Tosca to name just a few.  Bernardo Bermudez (back by popular demand) and Victoria Robertson are the featured vocal guest artists and live piano accompaniment add to the romance and passion of this memorable concert to share with your favorite valentine!
Other offerings on the program will include:
In The Mood – Former Ballet Tucson Resident Choreographer Mark Schneider’s homage to the big-band era is an upbeat, romantic, and fun ballet with the full company.
Titania and Bottom – a comedic duet excerpted from Ballet Tucson's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream will feature Connolly Strombeck (as Bottom) and Taylor Johnson or Elizabeth Egleson as Titania (Queen of the Fairies).
Romeo & Juliet Pas de Deux – Daniel Precup choreographs a new version of this famous duet depicting tragic love for Ballerina Jenna Johnson and Season Guest Artist Fredrick Davis.
Swan Lake Pas de Deux – the famous “White Swan” Pas de Deux expressing undying love from the most revered classical ballet of all times Swan Lake will feature Vasily Lunde and Megan Steffens or Laura Lunde.
