Roadhouse Cinemas recently hosted us for a date night and I wrote about what we thought in this post for Arizona Families.

Looking for a great local plan for Valentines?  Then look at what Roadhouse Cinemas has to offer couples for Vday and date nights all year long. We recently had the opportunity to celebrate a little early with some great friends on our double date.

1. Fun Drinks and Nice Bar Atmosphere Without Being in a "bar". The fabulous bartenders create and whip up fun film focused drinks. We tried a few and the "jolly Rancher" was one of our faves plus check out the cool chalk art to go along with the featured drinks.

2. Flavorful Popcorn- A gigantic bowl of buttery goodness is the perfect pick to share with your sweetie. The best part is there can be different choices in the bowl- maybe you want cheese with jalapeños and your date wants caramel. Done! It is also refillable all through the date. We started our popcorn at the bar, moved to the movie theatre and even got a bag to take home to the kids.

3. Full Menu- There are so many choices for all different tastes at Roadhouse. From salads and appetizers to Gyros and delicious hamburgers. 4. Desserts made in house- The desserts are all made in house from scratch daily and look at the great theme right now. There is always a nice selection of gelato available too. It wouldn't be Valentines without a dessert splurge, would it?

5. Movie selection- This lovely local theatre may be smaller than some of the stadium chains but the selection is still varied and current and sometimes they even offer throwbacks. 6. Seating- The seating at the Roadhouse are reserved spacious and comfortable recliner chairs with trays for all the food finds (see #1, 2, 3, and 4) and relaxing with your honey during the movie.

7. Outdoor Patio Seating- For the evening we went it was a bit chilly but still beautiful on the patio. A great way to start or end the date. Remember, to bring the popcorn out here too.

8. Specials- The upcoming Valentine's Day special Buy any bottle of wine and get 4 chocolate dipped strawberries for $21.95.

9. Excellent Service- I asked for a pretzel to bring home to my kiddo that wasn't feeling well while were were out and it was there right after the movie ended and we were ready to head home. Our server was attentive without being disruptive at all and I really wonder how they are able to do such an exceptional job in the dark.

10.Great Value- Valentine's Day is a Tuesday and that means $6 Tuesday tickets! Not only do the specials on menu items keep the costs reasonable, the refillable popcorn and drinks and $6 Tuesdays rock it!
