There is one final weekend left for this season of the Arizona Renaissance Festival and if you take your wee ones there, they will certainly desire something to take home with them. There is a vast selection of amazing things to pick from. Here are our picks for the Ariona Renassaince Festival 5 Best Souvenirs for Kids. 1. Pirate Treasure
There is a huge treasure chest of pirate booty where lads and lasses can find the treasure they love and fill up a small treasure chest or pouch - all for about $5!
2. Wands with Free Engraving
The wand shop is such a fun place for the kiddos. There are all sizes of wands and even leather wand holders to attach to your belt. There are many wands for $12 which is what my son decided on this year as his souvenir. The shop owner and wand maker will engrave your wand for no additional charge and quickly have your kiddo on his or her way with a delightful and personal memento.
3. Belly Dancing Belts, Scarves, Parasols, Fairy Wings and other colorful garments!
For many, the colorful things to dress up with are the best part of the Ren Fest. We love wearing something from years past to add a bit of color and magic to our outfit when we visit. Little ones (or even adults) can take home fairy wings to remind them of this magical part of their visit in Fairhaven with the faries and sea faries (aka mermaids) too.
4. Pet dragons and Pet Creatures
Many children LOVE stuffed animals but where do they all end up? I prefer that my children find other souvenirs and that is why I love the pet dragons and creatures because they are "animals" but are unique and allow for a interactive shoulder ride or can be used as a bracelet.
5. Flower Headbands
Another favorite for many and one which we have purchased in years past is a beautiful flower headband. This is something that can be used not only during the Ren Fest but also for other dress up occasions.
