At Culinary Dropout in Tucson, we suggest starting out with an appetizer for the table- the soft pretzels with provolone cheese fondue were a crowd pleaser.
The pretzels were warm, salty and perfectly browned.
The hot wings are in no way typical vinegar-heavy bar wings. They have various distinct and complementing flavors that you have to experience. They were not overrun with spice and the radishes were a unique addition.
The "VICES" menu has a few margarita options and some fun mules available too. Of course, the breweries are represented and would go well with the above mentioned pretzels. The sweeter side of the margarita choices was this Pink Cadillac and it was tasty.
For the main entrees the menu offers up classic fare like Ma..The Meatloaf and burgers like the M.A.C. burger. The light and crispy side salad was a great way to offset the indulgent burger.
Vegetarians? The pasta was full of veggies and the smooth and fall flavors of butternut squash and brussel sprouts hit the spot.
Don't forget the kiddos! The kitchen is more than willing to accommodate the "little monsters". We asked for a plain burger and asparagus as the side. Both were perfectly cooked with light seasoning and the kids ate it up!
The fun options beyond ice cream for the end of the meal include this crazy sweet monkey bread!
AND our absolute favorite- the decadent and rich chocolate S'mores pudding complete with graham cracker cookies and marshmallow fluff.
While waiting for the courses or during any of the time, the fun and games are available!
Looking for a fun atmosphere for a private event or to watch the game? Check out the additional bar in the back, "The Coop".
We are anxious to go for brunch for our next visit! What item would you like to try?
