{2017}
1. Veteran's Day Parade - Staging: 8:30am
Parade begins at 11:00amThe 98th Annual Tucson Veterans Day Parade is hosted by the American Legion Morgan McDermott Post 7. This annual event honors former and current members of our Armed Forces.
We honor our brave men and women in uniform by celebrating the lyrics and melodies that make our country great. Hosted by Tucson music legend Armen Dirtadian and a world-class band, you’ll be inspired by rousing renditions of flag-waving favorites such as “God Bless America,” “America The Beautiful,” “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and many more. With special guest appearances by audience favorites The Manhattan Dolls and Robert Shaw, this musical salute to freedom and liberty will be dedicated to those who've defended it. With a portion of the proceeds to be donated to Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans (assisting homeless vets in getting back on their feet), you won't want to miss an evening that's sure to make you Proud To Be An American!
