There are not as many options for families for New Year's Eve as other holidays. If you have your kids you can always party in your PJ's and watch the apple drop in NYC at 10pm our time here in Tucson, Arizona. Without the kids, there are plenty of options out there but here are what we at Arizona Families compiled for the families out and about together to ring in the new year. Happy 2018!


What:
It's almost time to say goodbye to 2017! But you don't have to stay up late - celebrate Happy Noon Year with us at the Museum! We'll have fun crafts and activities beginning at 10 am on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31), with a rockin' dance party plus a ball drop and apple juice toast at noon. Come ready to make some noisemakers - then some noise! All activities are included with regular Museum admission.

This is a special New year's showing after the show the audience gets to stay for the after show party NYE gala featuring popular performances from the 2017 season and champagne toast at midnight.

What: Prepare to dance magic dance as we ring in the New Year and celebrate the great David Bowie with a late-night screening of the ‘80s classic, Labyrinth, in a brand-new interactive SING AND QUOTE-A-LONG edition, featuring custom onscreen subtitles that will help you live the fantasy with Jareth, Sarah, Hoggle and friends! Costume Contest at approx. 11:15pm; Film begins promptly at 11:45pm.

Through dangers untold and hardships un-numbered, we know you’ve been patiently waiting to party with Jareth and all his Goblin pals on The Loft Cinema’s big screen. Well, the 13th hour will strike enough! Featuring a Labyrinth Costume Contest before the movie (time to break out those capes and cod pieces!), pre-show Bowie music videos, fun props to use during the movie and a free champagne toast at midnight! And don’t forget to wear a “Masquerade Ball” mask less you miss out on all the magic! But fear not: we’ll also have a “make your own mask” table where you can craft your own mask on the spot, while supplies last!

The movie starts promptly at 11:45pm, so that Sarah’s introduction to the Labyrinth and the Goblin King’s 13 Hour Clock will happen right at the stroke of midnight!
