It's Summer in Tucson and it is hot!It is nice to have an indoor activity to do with the kids and on the cheap.  We have quite a few theaters that participate in low cost or even free for kids movies during our hottest summer months.  I know that there are lots of activities and some days, we just want to get out of the heat and watch a move.

Some of these movies we haven't even seen yet, so we are extra excited to see them at such a bargain.

Loft Jr. is a free monthly series showcasing great new and classic family-friendly films! O.M.G. Zathura!! Each screening at The Loft Cinema features fun pre-show activities hosted by Mildred & Dildred Toy Store starting at 9:15am!

4. The Loft Cinema Kids Festival

The Loft hosts the fabulous and free movies with free popcorn too!  The films will be on all our summer calendars. You can also check the Loft website

This FREE summer movie series is presented by the Youth Advisory Council and is a fun, safe and secure event for Oro Valley teens, ages 13-19. Join us for free fun pool games, food, and a movie!

9.Cinema La Placita  at Tucson Museum of Art

Every Thursday evening at 7:30, May through August, hundreds of Tucsonans enjoy the cool summer evenings and a pleasant summertime event. $3 per person includes popcorn! RAINOUT PROCEDURE: We make the decision whether or not to cancel a movie at 7PM, but don't have a way to update this website from our location. So, after 7PM, call our hotline, 326-5282 to hear a recorded message.
