 FIREWORKS:

WHAT: Please join Hacienda del Lago for the annual A Colossal Fourth Block Party and Fireworks.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 3

 WHAT: Make our forefathers proud and rush(more) to make plans to be at Salute to America on July 3rd! (not open to the public but you can see the fireworks off bass if you are not DOD and guests)

Bring the whole family to this FREE EVENT (even the water slides and pony rides!) and enjoy a night full of fun, great food, awesome music, and an EPIC 25-minute fireworks display. Start your Independence Day holiday off with a bang at DM!

This is gearing up to be the best Independence Day celebration Davis-Monthan AFB has seen in years, so you won't want to miss out on all the incredible activities we have lined up for our block party! All this and more will be at the Blanchard Recreation Complex (the old golf course), and a shuttle bus route will be available, as well as plenty of parking! Event is open to DOD ID-cardholders and their guests.

The Oro Valley Aquatic Center will also be hosting a 4th of July Celebration.

We honor our brave men and women in uniform by celebrating the lyrics and melodies that make our country great. Hosted by Tucson music legend Armen Dirtadian and a world-class band, you’ll be inspired by rousing renditions of flag-waving favorites such as “God Bless America,” “America The Beautiful,” “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and many more. With special guest appearances by audience favorites The Manhattan Dolls and Robert Shaw, this musical salute to freedom and liberty will be dedicated to those who've defended it. What:Let Freedom Sing  

Presented by Arts Express for 35 years, Let Freedom Sing has delighted audiences and embraced the patriotic spirit of Southern Arizonans. Emceed by TV Anchor Guy Atchley at the Fox Tucson Theatre, the theme for Let Freedom Sing 2019 is “The Freedom Dream.” It will surely be an inspiring celebration of our nation’s birthday in song and visual artistry – uniting our diverse backgrounds and fostering a sense of community.

Under the direction of Susan Lane Stokes and Mark Gary, musical selections will include patriotic standards and all-American hits, featuring the Arts Express choir and orchestra with special guests including the Manhattan Dolls, Andrew Stuckey, Flamenco guitarist Ismael Barajas and many more! Our nation’s colors will be presented by the Davis Monthan Color Guard underscored by the beauty of a lone bagpiper from the Tucson Fire Fighters Pipe and Drum Band.

If you’re planning on joining us in this beautiful, cool weather on the 4th of July - be sure you get up the mountain before 11:00!
