My family and I recently took a vacation to Northern Arizona and Utah. My fourth-grader was able to use the Every Kid in a Park pass to save us all of the entrance fees to Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks!  If you have a kiddo in 4th grade make sure to check out the pass HERE and also free entrance days which include the upcoming Veteran's Day November 11, 2019. Fall break would be an absolutely fabulous time to take a trip to #VisitUtah 

For the majority of our trip we visited Bryce Canyon National Park in Southern Utah. We stayed at Best Western Ruby's Inn just outside the entrance to the park. The accommodations were great and there were so many fun things to do inside and outside of Bryce, all available at Ruby's Inn.

The National Park Service's shuttle to Bryce Canyon leaves right from Ruby's Inn. You can also drive in but the convenience is right at the hotel if you choose to shuttle. 

The room we had was classic and comfortable and included a great breakfast buffet every day of our stay!

There are also cozy cabins, an RV Park, and even tepees to staying at Ruby's Inn.

In the lobby, you can book horseback trail rides, helicopter/airplane scenic flights, dinner with country western concerts, rodeos, horseback rides, ATV rides and virtual reality fun.

In addition to all of the things to do and the natural environment to explore, the hotel has a great business center where, as a blogger, I did have to visit and was pleasantly surprised.

The kids love to hit the pools at least once when we take a vacation and Ruby's Inn offers both an indoor pool an outdoor pool.

Looking for some extra day trips from the areas with Ruby's Inn as a base? We visited Kanab and Panguitch Lake. 

We also spent a day at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.We have been to the south rim of the Grand Canyon but this was our first family visit to the North Rim. I would highly recommend it. At our home in Southern, AZ the weather can be sweltering for a few months out of the year but the North rim of the Grand Canyon was beautiful in mid-July. The North Rim has less crowds, nice hiking trails and a lodge with fabulous views.

Fall Break and upcoming free National Park Entrance Day, November 11th would be perfect times to Visit Utah.
