There are many wonderful options to enjoy The Nutcracker Ballet in Tucson from traditional to unique!

What: Tucson Regional Ballet Featuring the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Southwest Nutcracker is Tchiakovsky’s full-length ballet with a unique Sonoran Desert flair! This original, full-length classical ballet translates the traditional Nutcracker to Tucson in the 1880s, complete with coyotes, cavalry, and rattlesnakes.

The live orchestra, lovely costumes and beautiful, professionally designed sets – combined with the stunning dancing – all make for a holiday tradition that will be enjoyed by the entire family.

What: Ballet Tucson's 20th Annual Sugar Plum Tea!
There are few things more rewarding than experiencing the joy of tradition during the festive season, and the Sugar Plum Tea has become a holiday tradition for Tucson families.
Confections of every kind will transform the ballroom at the Doubletree Hotel Tucson - Reid Park into a magical setting for this hallmark event. Join Ballet Tucson artists along with the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara and other characters from The Nutcracker ballet in celebrating the sights and sounds of the season. Festivities will also include a Ballet Tucson performance, holiday boutique and marketplace and a silent auction of gifts and treasures. Enjoy high tea, holiday shopping and outstanding performances.
Entertainment headliners to provide live holiday music will be harpist CHRISTINE VIVONA and the 4TH AVENUE STRINGS led by Rose Todaro.
All proceeds benefit Ballet Tucson (Tucson’s professional ballet company).

What: Ballet Rincon's annual full length production of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker Ballet returns to the stage! Come experience this family tradition once again with Ballet Rincon, and featured guest artists Marquez Johnson, Maya Hughes and Hannah Novinski.
Face masks are recommended for all audience members attending performances at the theater
